Apply for accreditation for the testing/calibration activity detailed in the documents to be downloaded.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants should review the relevant requirements and standards that pertain to their facilities and the accreditation being sought and ensure that these are understood and fulfilled to the best of the applicant’s ability, before submitting the completed Application Form and Questionnaire. An application fee of US$1,000 is required with the return of your Application Form. Kindly contact JANAAC for a quote.

THE COST OF ACCREDITATION
The cost of accreditation is specific to each conformity assessment body. Costing depends on the scope of accreditation, which determines the number of assessors used on the job and the amount of man-hours it takes to complete the job.
Experience shows that the initial assessment, the first phase of the accreditation cycle, usually takes between 2-4 days and uses between 1-2 Lead Assessor(s) and 1-4 Technical Assessor(s)/Expert(s) depending on the proposed accreditation scope. Your cost therefore for your initial assessment will vary depending on the requested scope. Please request a quote at servicerequest@janaac.gov.jm.
